We were freezing.
Literally. I'm pretty sure the temerature that morning was a crisp 30 degrees. But that didn't stop us from capturing these precious memories! Not to mention that the sun was literally perfect. I walked away from that session completely in love with sunrise sessions!
Jordan reached out to me at the peak of busy season. She was so sweet and kind and understanding that I knew I just had to work with her and her family. So I did what any other photographer would do- woke up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday to get this session in before church! Clayton and Jordan both work at a church in town, so we instantly bonded over ministry. They were so laid back and go with the flow, they made my job so easy! And their sweet kids were such troopers in the cold! I mean, they really rocked this session, don't you think?!
One of the main things Jordan wanted captured was her daughter's zest and energy for life, as well as her son's incredible eyes. Just hearing Jordan fawn over her kids made me get goosebumps. Their littles are so close in age, they really just wanted this season captured in a genuine form. I'd say mission accomplished! I also got to hold their baby boy while I snapped a few pictures of just mom and day, which totally made my day. And a little PSA for moms and dads- don't forget to get pictures of just the two of you!
