Love was in the air.
Such a cliche, right? What I mean is that you could feel Tony and Ari's love for each other just by being around them. You could feel just how much all of their friends and family loved them. It was palpable.
Ari reached out to me on social media about a year before her wedding asking if I did wedding photography. At the time, it just wasn't something that I was interested in. Ari was just so sweet and affirming that I didn't want to tell her no! So, I asked if she would be willing to wait a few months for an answer. Her wedding wasn't for a while, so she was gracious enough to give me time to figure it out. I shadowed and second shot for another local photographer and FELL IN LOVE with wedding photography! I love everything about it- the details, the ceremony, the husband and wife portraits, the receptions. I'm here for it!
I reached back out to Ari to let her know that I would be honored to be her wedding photographer! She and Tony took a chance on me, and I will be forever grateful for that. From their engagement session to the day of the wedding, I had no doubt that these two only have eyes for each other. They make each other better. There's this calming air when you're around them. They take you in and immediately make you feel like family. They also don't take themselves too seriously, which of course made shooting their wedding such a blast!
Did I mention that their wedding was on their property?! They have cattle, so of course we had to go out in the pasture for their husband and wife portraits! The cattle, combined with the pasture and the sunset, made their portraits pure perfection-- if you scroll down, you'll see what I'm talking about! I love that we were able to include their property into the images that they will look back on for a lifetime. That definitely makes their images unique to just the two of them.
And boy, do these two know how to throw a reception!
It was a pure joy and honor to capture this special day for Tony and Ari. I hope you two have a beautiful life together.
Enjoy my many favorites!
